As a child
DG’s love for trees, nature and writing has always been her passion. Her writing journey began as a child and has always been somewhat driven by possible solutions and her passion for the woodlands and freshwater.
As a young working mom
DG developed a more intense writing style, more focused on collaborative community grant writing and some poetry while raising her family in a suburb of Boston.
Current Day
DG continues her writing journey today as an observer of deforestation and while forest bathing on her own woodlands conservation project. In her first published children’s book, The Impervious Forest, Diane hopes the readers will develop a passion for woodlands conservation through fictional storytelling.
